How to play
  • It's an artillery duel! Take turns lobbing shells across an alien moon and knock the other tank's health to zero.
  • Three ways to play from the menu: 1 Player vs Jax (the space fox gets tougher every moon), 2 Players · One Screen (hot-seat, pass the device on each turn), or Play a Friend Online (host a code or join one — your two devices link straight together).
  • Two-player match: both players fight through all nine moons, unlocking a new weapon each round. Whoever knocks the other out wins that moon; win the most moons across the match to take the crown. It's the same moons and wind and gravity for both of you — pure aim.
  • Touch: press anywhere and drag back like a slingshot — the dotted arc previews your shot — then release to fire. Drag back near your starting point to cancel.
  • Keyboard: ←/→ aim the barrel, ↑/↓ set power, Space fires. Number keys (or tapping the chips) pick a weapon.
  • Move your tank! Hold the ◀ ▶ buttons (or the A/D keys) to drive along the ground — but watch the FUEL gauge, you only get so much per moon. Relocating also spoils Jax's aim: the farther you move, the more he has to zero back in!
  • Watch the WIND arrows up top — every turn it changes and bends your shot. Each moon also has its own gravity: low-G moons launch shells on huge floaty arcs!
  • Earn your arsenal: you start with the trusty Shell, and every moon you conquer unlocks a new weapon — Heavy, Triplet, Drill (dig the ground out from under Jax!), the mighty Nuke, then the Bouncer, Cluster, Roller, and finally the Laser. Special ammo restocks at each new moon — but it's limited, so spend it wisely! (Jax earns his weapons one moon behind you.)
  • Some moons have hazards: skidding ice on Kryo Basin, burning lava pools on Magma Rift, falling meteors over the Ion Wastes, and a shot-blocking UFO patrolling Zero-G Ridge. (Online play skips the meteors and UFO so both devices stay perfectly in sync.)
  • Solo only: Jax gets tougher as you go — armor plating, extra health, a shield bubble, even sneaky repositioning — and every 4th moon is a BOSS MOON with a monster tank and double bonus points. The BOSS ARMORY lends you next moon's weapon early to even the odds! Two-player duels keep both tanks perfectly even.
  • Boss tip: his shield only blocks one blast — pop it with a cheap Shell before spending the big stuff. Or skip it entirely: the Drill collapses the ground under him, and fall damage goes right through shields.
  • Explosions carve real craters — the battlefield changes with every shot, and tanks that fall far take damage. Careful: your own blasts can hurt you too!
  • Win a moon to earn up to ★★★ (take no damage for all three!), fully repair, and fly on. Your best score, furthest moon, and star record are saved. How far can you get?
